20. Against Medical Advice (AMA) Discharge

If a client chooses to leave treatment against medical advice (AMA), Thrive Detox Inc. shall not be liable for any resulting medical complications, injuries, relapse, or damages. Clients acknowledge the risks associated with premature termination of detox services.

21. Insurance Billing and Financial Responsibility

Thrive Detox Inc. may assist in verifying insurance benefits; however, insurance coverage is not guaranteed. Clients remain financially responsible for all services provided, including any portion not covered by insurance. Submission of insurance information does not guarantee payment by the insurance provider.

22. Licensing and Medical Oversight

Medical services are provided under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals in accordance with California law. Individual practitioners may be independent contractors and not employees of Thrive Detox Inc.

23. Patient Rights

Clients are entitled to rights provided under California law, including confidentiality, dignity, and access to appropriate care. Additional rights and grievance procedures are provided upon admission.

24. Emergency Care Limitation

Thrive Detox Inc. is not a hospital and does not provide emergency medical services. In case of emergency, clients will be referred to an appropriate licensed medical facility.
